Rank: Recruit (1)
Duty: -
Dept.: Military / 1st Fleet
Faction: Tion Hegemony
Race: Hapan
Gender: Male

A tough and hotheaded person, Cody Zendent belongs to humble origins from the lower classes of Hapan society. From the early age of 6, Cody had been fighting for his survival with his old metal pole that he had forged himself and made a name for himself on the streets of Seocka, Hapes. With his metal pole, he called himself the Polemancer and fought for vengeance and justice.
At 14, he was hand-picked by a Hapan fleet commander to join the ranks of the Royal Starfleet and went into the Academy at 15 years of age. He graduated at 18 with a full-fledged commander rank after he spent his entire life in the Academy doing everything in his power to get the highest possible position for himself before graduating. He is looking for a ship and a crew to go explore the galaxy that he has barely ever seen or heard about except from traveling galactic merchants that had landed in the starport of Seocka. He still hasn't forgotten his heritage as he contributes to his family's expenses.
"If you don't fit into your world's society... Leave it. Not worth trying to fit in if all those idiots are gonna do is keep you out of their society. Get on a ship and leave for another world and keep doing that until you find the right world for you. The world where you'll truly fit in.
"It'll be tough, but who said life was easy?"
- Cody Zendent on the troubles of life
Who am I? What are my origins? Where did I come from? You want to know these things?
Well, okay. I'll give you my early childhood to start:
I come from the planet Hapes. I'm sure that you've heard much about the prosperity and peacefulness that the galaxy has come to know when referring to my planet.
Don't let it fool you. I'm not rich. I never was. Not now, either. I'm not part of a noble household, unlike what most people think when they hear that I'm Hapan. I come from a poor lower-class family that was in the worst part of the slums of Seocka, Hapes.
We never prospered. Hell, we barely made enough for the weekly groceries! We lived in a broken-down apartment complex, where our landlord was making my eldest sisters his sex slaves to pay what parts of the rent that we couldn't afford.
At 6 years of age, I had had enough. Enough of this life, enough of the crap. And I had had QUITE enough of our pedophile landlord.
One night, when he was sleeping after using my eldest sister Hecate's body for his own twisted pleasures, I went into his room with a metal pole that I had forged myself and stood at his bedside waiting for him to wake up.
When he did, the last thing he saw was my demented and twisted face looking at him with murderous intent. Then I killed him.
Soon after that, tax collectors came and took my mother away from me. I had just turned 7.
I then went to the streets and fought all the evil and corruption that a 7-year-old kid with a metal pole could.
Well, that's my early childhood. I'll tell you more later. For now, leave me be for a while. I must meditate on my past.
