History

Born on Coruscant, Toph was born into the prominant Graystone family, a family that traces its linage back to the first Tion Hegemony. Born blind, Toph spent most of her youth secluded from the rest of the galaxy. Her disability didn't slow Toph down however, choosing to hone her other senses to help lead a more normal life. By the age of fifteen Toph had become a skilled fighter, thanks in part to her teachers, and though she could not fly Toph memorized the layouts of all the ships her father's company, Graystone Industries, created in the hopes of one day flying one. At 17 years of age a more improved ocular replacement procedure allowed Toph to finally see on her own.
