The Sertar sector is located in the Outer Rim Territories, adjacent to the Greater Tion region. Coreward of the Thanium, Indrexu and Nilgaard worlds, Sertar contains the newly re-discovered Elom and Kazarak systems. The entire sector is galactically recognized as sovereign and protected territory of the Tion Hegemony and her affiliate corporations. Although the sector lies astrogeographically outside the domain of Greater Tion, the sector elected to join the Hegemony after negotiations, moderated by Tull Mat, President and Founder of Galentro Heavy Works. 

Diplomatic contact was established between the Hegemony and the citizens of this sector by senior members of the Tion Hegemony High Council after being approached by Mr. Mat upon the request of the Kazaraki Delegation of Ten on Day 325 of Year 17.

By Day 331, the sector has been galactically recognized as protected territory of the Tion Hegemon. The TIonese Fleet mobilized units to quickly secure and provide the immediate protection of the two systems.
