Abigail was born on Tatooine to Otto Sams and Addiemae Sams. Hers is a 9th generation military family. She left Tatooine as soon as she was old enough to join the military.

Abigail played with toy ships as a child. She loves old things. She carries an antique firearm as a sidearm. She is very mechanically inclined, and can figure out most weapons and ships.
