A young Anzati reporter stood in what looked to be a dark, shady back alley, illuminated only by the light coming from the camera itself. â Hello and welcome to the Anzatan News Network. I am here today, on my home planet of Anzat, to talk to an anonymous source about the political situation arising across this planet as well as the rest of the territory formerly owned by the Anzatan Commonwealth and now owned by the Tresario Star Kingdom.â
The camera panned over to reveal a figure standing next to her, the face was blurred out, which made it impossible to make out any clues as to their identity. â I would like to first point out that the blurred face and the scrambled voice you will hear are in place to keep the identity of our source anonymous and out of harm's way.â She turned her attention away from the camera and instead focused on the blurred figure instead. â As we have discussed off camera, you are here to talk about the current underground political struggle that has begun to run rampant ever since the formation of the new group Anzatan Resurgence lead by former Minister Sion Plagueis.â There was a pause to let the words sink in and to allow the tension to build slightly, â Let us get right down to it then. What exactly has the response been to this new Anzatan group?â
The figure spoke for the first time, the voice came as a strange, deep, scrambled voice which made it slightly difficult to understand. â There has been much discussion going around about what this could mean, especially in back alley conversations such as these.â It was hard to tell with the blur over the figures face, but it seemed to look at the camera and smile. â Many are wondering what this could mean for the former Anzatan Commonwealth owned territories.â
âWhat are the people's current views on the Anzatan Commonwealth?â
âThat is a tricky question indeed, there are definitely mixed feelings, especially after what took place with Tresario. There is definitely a struggle to forgive the former Chancellor Isard and his Privy Council for selling out to Tresario. The population was outraged throughout the territory when the Privy Council decided to go against its long-standing beliefs and joined the Imperial Union. Even that doesn't compare to the decision of the Privy Council to sell out its population and everything else it controlled to Tresario. Still, time has passed and with new leadership, the population could easily be swayed back to Anzatan Control. It is after all our home, our family, and our culture.â He seemed to have a hard time getting out those last few words.
âWhat about under Tresarian rule? Would the population say that things have gotten better or worse since Tresario took control?â
âI would say that most would believe that the stability and economic prowess that Tresario has brought to the world, and to all of the worlds, has definitely improved the economic situation. They have put economic growth above all else. This of course came at a price, however, and one that has caused great ripples throughout the populations. The price, of course, was that of our culture. It has been completely destroyed by Tresario, and not only that, they have even tried to force their own culture upon us. In the end, many believe they care more about the money and power they gain from being in charge of these territories and not about the people and their cultures.â
âLet me shift the direction of this interview a little. I want to know what you have heard in these back alley discussions that you have had on this matter.â
âWell, as I said before, there are mixed feelings on the subject. Most do not believe anything will come of it, knowing that Tresario is very powerful and will not easily hand over the territory. However, I have heard many in support of Chancellor Plagueis taking control of former Anzatan Territory. He has made it clear that he stands for the people and for restoring the culture that we have lost. That has gained him much respect among the people on a personal level.â The figure shifted in the seat slightly, the body language alone giving off a nervousness, âI have even heard rumors of an underground group known as the Anzatan Liberation Army that has already begun rallying throughout former Anzatan Space.â
The broadcast went black, for a moment, and then suddenly reappeared with the banner of the Anzatan Liberation Army. It was only a flash before the screen went black once more, cut off by some unknown force.Â
Trsid Titan, also known as the Vectinia Butcher to the Ailon citizenry, was captured earlier last month and charged with multiple crimes including being an accomplice to the traitor Kohl Straffer, high treason against the Ailon Nova Guard, and countless murders committed against the civilians during the genocide of Vectinia. Titan, a former ANG member, along with Kyp Arkanus, Karl Riber, and their leader Kohl Straffer participated in the looting of Ailon Nova Guard and the formation of the terrorist group Nova Blades claiming oppression and a Mandalorian heritage however showing to the galaxy their severe lack of honor in the process.
Justice was handed out earlier this week as Trsid Titan of the Nova Blades was found guilty and sentenced to death. The citizens of Vectinia were encouraged to turn out, rejoice, and come watch as Titan was ejected in an escape pod into the lava fields of Vectinia. As the pod sank deep into the lava cheers went up from the gathered crowds, while fireworks lit up the sky, and cannon blasts reverberated across the lands. Overhead the Ailon Nova Guard's new flagship Ailon's Revenge beamed the event into space and broadcast live across the planet with the message to the citizens that they have not, and will not be forgotten. That the Ailon Nova Guard will return and free them from the oppression of the despicable and dishonorable cowardly oppressors.
Let this serve as a warning to any who would cross the Ailon Nova Guard and to the remaining Nova Blades, that the Guard will not rest until all of the traitors have been captured and brought to justice.
Have no doubt, we are coming for you... One down, three to go.
High Council Ends Infestation

Golan II - Port Argolis Security Checkpoint
Marked for immediate release.
Year 18 Day 80 - Today saw the successful end of a five day operation by senior members of the Tion Hegemony High Council, according to a spokessentient from the Office of the Lady Hegemon.
Upon notification that Kray Voh, infamous bounty hunter and proprietor of Ever Light Transportation, was scheduled to arrive in Argai to gather an order for an Athakam MedTech customer, the High Council formulated a plan to capture the Yam`rii.
An arrest warrant was approved by a quorum of the sitting High Councillors on Day 75, as agents swarmed the Argai system, home of Athakam MedTech, to secure the system and wait-out the arrival of the acknowledged criminal.
Once the Yam'rii was in custody deliberation over trial and execution occurred, with immediate execution of Kray Voh being voted as the course of justice. Summary of charges include: attempting to kidnap a Tionese citizen, attempted bounty, operating illegally within Tionese space, offering bounties of top Tion officials, and criminal threatening of the Lady Hegemon.
The affected customer of Athakam MedTech was contacted post-operation by the Rector Superior of Athakam, who authorized a swift refund and arranged transportation for the delivery of the customer’s goods, including the care of a sand panther cub that Mr. Voh had in his possession.
The Tion High Council would like to offer support to any victims of Kray Voh’s schemes. If anyone having hired Ever Light Transportation believes they will have been affected by this apprehension, please contact Fleet Admiral Crislyn Anessa Waryn.

Downhearted Tion Hegemony Emboldened by Leadership (Posted by Crislyn Anessa Waryn on Year 17 Day 358)
GTNG -- Kazarak system, Sertar, Tion Cluster
But, in order to accurately report the story of Lady Barefoot’s transition to leader of the Tionese people, we must revisit the previous 60 days of the Tionese year. In the weeks leading up to the Tionese annual Day of Unity celebrations, rumors had begun circulating the worlds under the protection of the Tion Hegemony. Hushed voices in every bar, factory, and homestead could be heard asking the same question: "What has become of Lord Hegemon Asai?"
"Lord Takao Asai was the one who taught me the most about government life and planetary economics. I frankly owe everything to his teachings. I join all of Tion in their grieving for the loss of our leader, as I do for my long-time personal friend. But I can assure you, I will do my absolute utmost to continue to build on the work set upon by my predecessors. I am dedicated to seeing the Hegemony surge forward on a path of unlimited prosperity and unity for all Tionese. Tion will remain a neutral force within the galaxy, a committed member of the Galactic Concordiate, and a never fading beacon for all that is good in this galaxy!"
Following signing of the Desargorr Accord and her first official Hegemonial address, Lady Hegemon Barefoot, joined by her wife and their two children, hurried to Voss III where she welcomed the new head of Tion Engineering and Construction, now-Director Kulton Duine, to his new headquarters, before swiftly returning to Meeshae to hold the first High Council session of her tenure.
Among the most influential changes within the Tionese leadership was the naming of former Tion Military and Science Industries President, Abraari To as Chancellor. Sir To was succeeded at TMSI by long-time acting Vice President Stig`ray Morvo. In addition, former First Fleet Admiral William Radcliff was appointed Hyperion, Minister of Defense, his successor in First Fleet to be named early in the new year.
